Everycare care workers are the backbone of the long-term care system, providing essential support to people who need help with daily living activities. We work in a variety of settings, but mainly people’s own homes.
Our duties can vary depending on the needs of the people they care for, but they typically include:
• Helping with personal care, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
• Preparing meals and helping people to eat
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with housework and shopping
• Monitoring people’s health and well-being
• Reporting any concerns to other healthcare professionals
Our care workers play a vital role in helping people to live independently and with dignity. We make a real difference to the lives of the people we care for.
